Welcome to this week’s installment of many micro stories, ranging in length from 100 words to 500 words.
With each story we hope to deliver a little whimsy into the lives of our readers.
ETERNAL FAIRY TALE
In a hidden glen, where wildflowers bloomed endlessly, a lonely tailor named Lloyd discovered an enchanted harp. Strumming its strings, he awakened Isolde, a maiden trapped in a centuries-old spell. Her eyes, deep as the forest pools, met his, and a connection sparked. Each day, Lloyd returned, playing melodies that wove their hearts together. One dawn, a final note broke the spell, and Isolde stepped into the sunlight, free. They embraced, the air shimmering with magic. Together, they crafted a life where love’s song never ended, proving that even in the darkest enchantments, true love’s harmony could bring eternal joy.
